Male Ego

Now i find it hard sometimes to deal with certain situations in life down to my male ego. it's something that has manifested it's way into my feelings over the years, it comes out when im driving and when im pushing my chest out and chatting to the opposite sex, god forbid i ever get told no by a lady, come on serious how can she not find me attractive, a dented male ego is a crushing blow!! i would have to be off work for at least 6 months and have counseling to see me though it.

Rejection is a hard thing to accept for most men! but i'm curious to know how others respond too it!!

I have come to realise that if they are so shallow as to not realise what their missing out on then I didn't want to waste my time on them anyway.

Their loss, I have those who appreciate me and for what I am.

I never had an ego really, never participated enough to need one. But when I found things I was good at, if I didnt try to remain humble, I acted pretty cringeworthy and that's something I regret because I cant forget.

As Dave Lee Roth once said to Jon Stewart; 'my pop told me, "son, don't be humble, you're not that good!"'

Ego is just a protection device against your fear of not being perfect or as good as the guy next to you when you need to be better to get what yoy want. It's not so much a dick measuring contest because ego allows a guy with a smaller dick to belittle the guy who's hung like a donkey.

Next hurdle: no longer needing the approval of others!

Wow wise words from the immortal Dave lee Roth!! i'm pretty sure that's the guy who told me to jump!! "just go ahead and jump! doop doop doop duh doop doo doop, doo du du doo. yeah " well i might get to that point after my extreme ego bashing! i might just go ahead and do that sniff sniff!! oh the irony of it all!!
