Turkey cannot join the EU until they change their political stance on Cyprus, and they will never do that.

So they will never likely join the EU

I also think we should do everything in our power as a nation to send much needed aid to Turkey to assist them with their humanitarian aid efforts.

Winter isn't that far off and they are going to need all the help that the world can give them at this time.

Or we could just worry that we might have to allow some of them into the UK, personally I would spend less time worrying about that and working flat out to help the Turks.

Nail on head there aid is needed and quickly, humanitarian aid is what we should be giving to help those disposed.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Tiny Jordan has taken over half a million Syrian refugees. An 8% increase in their population and far fewer resources to manage the inflow.

Imagine the outcry if we took half a million Syrian refugees, yet we have more resources and space.

All you can do is hand in pocket and send a bit to the red cross or some other charity helping out over there.
