Serious post: has anyone else got a smartfone that every time you type in the word true and then enter auto-text kicks in and makes it capitals? Try it if you're not sure

True .. nope.. sometimes if you have typed something in capitals recently it does it.

Don't really use caps except when I need to. I like my English to be correct and use them for proper nouns, etc. Use the word true occasionally when I'm bullshitting a woman. And this is the second fone I've had that does it. Maybe if I delved deep into the settings I could stop it? Just curios coz it's only this word. Maybe a subliminal message?

Make and model of smartphone?

If on Android, are you using stock keyboard or aftermarket one?

Have you tried resetting the suggestions?

Goto Settings/Keyboard/Type Settings/Reset Suggestions

Did it. Message came up saying it'd: 'remove all the suggestions I had added but not the ones which came with fone'. So hasn't made any difference to auto-text changing true to TRUE when you press enter. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. I'll Just have to continue to grin and bear it.

I was just wondering if mine was the only fone which did it. I know a babe off here with a Nokia, but not the 900. Maybe I'll message her to ask her if hers does it

Does it happen with the word false?

Try asking the question on an online forum either on the nokia website or your mobile network website.

Sounds like it's a design feature of the particular version of predictive text software. I'm no expert but I believe that you can download different versions.
