Is it out of order to ask someone to verify themselves to you by cam or phone call? We got blocked for asking a rather sus looking profile to do so

I wouldn't even offer a meet without confirming who was at the other end of the conversation. So no, not unreasonable at all.

I tend to go with gut instinct and ask immediately if it doesnt feel right where as carl will chat for ages and friend people so they have immediate access to our pictures! Hes such a pain

Seriously, after 6 yrs on here I have never had a cam. I think they are a good thing in some respects, but would sooner meet someone in person for a coffee or a pint anytime
