okay this is my first post so please be gentle with me lol!

I've looked at a profile of a guy who seems to regularly comment in forums as his profile pic was well taken & different. Checked out the rest of his extensive photo collection & I really like the way the pics are done ~ sexy, naughty but artistic.

anyway thought I'd message him to see how he gets that effect but I'm blocked because I'm a year over his age range

so are there any keen amateur or professional photographers out there who know how you can add random colour onto a black & white photograph. For example a b/w shot of a hand with red nail varnish as the only colour?

thanks

Depends on how you want to do it. Either using a camera and a pc or just using mobile apps. The person you are referring to uses a proper camera and then sucks all his excess skin up on the pc. (Hahaha only joking he covers it up with marshmallows really)

You can achieve what you are looking for, quite easily though with a couple of free mobile apps.

Usually referred to as 'colour popping'. You need photo editing software to do it. Effectively you mask the area you want to keep in colour and desaturate the colour from the rest of the image. There are other methods but the result is the same.

Simple. Most phones have one touch colour editing software apps that are extremely user friendly and easy to use. No need to learn photoshop fer goodnessakes.

Drop me a pvt if youneed more info but its nit big deal, honestly!
