Love it-just returned from Cuba as well and enjoyed the local stuff as well. Morgan's is class though.

It's not common over here and when you do find it, its usually around £50 a bottle. It's named after a Van Halen song and is owned by Sammy Hagar, their ex lead singer.

Woods 100 was a favourite of mine some years ago. Can``t get it now in this country because as the name suggests it is 100% proof! Rocket fuel!

Sorry to be a pedant but there's no such thing as 100%-proof!

100% would be pure alcohol, therefore not rum (and quite possibly lethal) and 100-proof is only around 40% alcohol...

Just checked and 100-proof is 50% alcohol...
