"Do they do Ejoints? What you're looking for is a "Vapouriser". I tried an E-cig for a couple of weeks but didn't really like the taste and found that I needed to smoke twice as much. In the end I went to the docs and got prescribed "Champix", fantastic stuff, was completely off smokes in about 2 weeks, cigarettes tasted just awful and the craving completely went. A couple of downsides is that you feel a bit queasy taking them for the first week or so, but you get used to it, put on a bit of weight too, but that just spurred me on to exercising and leading a more healthier life. I'd recommend trying it if other routes fail." I think I'll have to try 'champix' I have smoked e cigs but I always went back to real cigs. its good to see you did well with it even with a few downsides.

"Oh yeah I forgot about the vivid dreams. Didn't bother me though as a really enjoy my dreams, even the nightmares (oxymoron there?), I try lucid dreaming too but can never pull it off....bummer. As for turning you mad, wow, my experience was quite the opposite, it chilled me right out haha. Strange how our biochemistry works eh? Feeling sick unfortunatly is a common side effect, but for me that was all over with by the time I finished my 2nd corse. I'd tried patches, e-cigs, gum and zaiban, so champix was a last resort for me so I had no choice but to persevere. Needs must when the devil rides, so they say. I think you just gotta keep trying till you find what works, good luck with it" I have vivid dreams now so I can't say much would change, I tried patches and I got a rash from from, the gum is horrible and I have never heard of zaiban before.. what is it? I'll talk to my doctor about champix I think also with feeling sick, because I heard you have to take them with a meal, are they the same.. I could do without feeling sick :P

I could do without feeling sick :P" Ziaban was a precursor to Champix, both were designed originally as anti-depressants but it was discovered that they had the added bonus of cancelling out the receptors that give us nicotine cravings. Ziaban was released about 5-6 years ago and I'm not sure they offer it now, don't matter though cos Champix works far better. And yes, for me I did feel more positive minded on them too so it kinda still has the anti-depressant effects. I wasn't depressed but it just made me feel......better lol if you do decide to or down that route you will need to persevere through the sickly feeling (it only lasts for about 10-15 mins, and you will stop feeling it after a couple of courses) I took mine about 30 mins before dinner. If you want to stop the vivid dreams happening (I didn't) you can have one when you wake up with brekkie, then one with dinner

"Nicotine isn't that bad for you? Nicotine is known to mildly stimulate the central nervous system, whereas it strongly stimulates the cardiovascular system. It causes blood vessels to constrict thus increasing both blood pressure and heart rate. Nicotine is very poisonous, and its the active ingredient in tobacco. Nicotine causes the constriction of coronary arteries, heartburn and high blood pressure. The effects may be mild for people who are not addicted to the substance but they become pronounced with higher intakes of the substance. Nicotine can do many thing to a human body. Nicotine can affect blood pressure, heart rate, nerves, body temperature, can cause a release of adrenaline, blocks insulin, and cuts off a bit of air supply going to and from the lungs. Nicotine over time can also cause a great range of cancers." You're right. That's why I need to stop. Soon. Xx

Good luck to anyone giving up. Z
