It was my turn at the GUM clinic yesterday, and the first woman I saw was a health care assistant, she looked quite taken aback when I told her and said I needed to be seen by a nurse. The nurse was really lovely, ignored the shopping bruise from a chain flogger and didn't shirk at the number of sexual partners this year (which was a guess!)

It's just one of those things. If a women is walking between a hotel and a known swinging club dressed up to the nines then its going to attract unwanted attention, and we should be aware of it.

This is why we will never be free, why we won't tell all of our vanilla friends about our lifestyle and why so many people hide behind ambiguous profile pics (me included) its a shame, but it's more of a shame for the vanillas who will never know the joys of being able to express our sexuality.
