I tip my hat to all parents after a week of looking after my niece and nephew (and my nan and my mum and her stupid dog!!!)

Don't get me wrong, it's been a lovely break and they are the best behaved kids I have ever known but I am soooooo knackered!!!

Was lovely. Spent all well at various beaches. Best morning wake up was gearing mum ask my niece what her best bit of the previous day was and she said 'my leanne' ahhhhhhhh

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's lovely to be able to hand them back, isn't it?

The bit I find tiring is trying to get them out of the front door. How many times do you have to say "have you been to the loo?" and "put your shoes on" before you can actually leave?

What you need now is a long soak in the bath and for someone to bring you a drink when ever your glass needs a top up, so glad you understand what us parents go thro 24/7

Every single morning, never fail with the same twin who goes to put shoe on wrong foot"other foot...other foot...other foot' about 10 times before she does it...LOL

That has made me laugh. One of the twins is a leaky valve and it doesn't matter how many times we suggest he goes to the toilet he always needs to go again just at the point everyone else has finally got their act together and we're about to walk through the door.

The other twin never wants to go out but once out he doesn't want us to go back home.

Someone said to me once...

"wait until you're my age. Then you'll discover that...

Grandchildren are a Parents revenge..."
