So.....following on from the Jamie O debate.... What are you fail safe meals, bulk/reheatable/cheap and tasty???

I'll attempt to refresh my weekly menu.

Mine are a roast dinner cos a pork joint is often fairly cheap and the rest is just veg.

Left over pork sliced for sarnies

Left over pork for a stir fry with home made sweet and sour sauce, and lots of veg in it.

Yes I know pork isn't the healthiest

Lasagne, casserole, salmon pasta using the cheap trimmings and a spoon or two of creme fraiche.

Mmmm hungry already xxxx

", Shepard's pie and pheasant "

Isn't pheasant a bit faffy to sort out versus available meat??? (No idea). I have two in my freezer that I'm ignoring for a rainy day

East Yorkshire

One of my favourites is lots of frozen onion, peppers, sweet corn, diced chicken and a Schwartz slow cooker chicken curry mix into the slow cooker then its waiting for me when I get home.

I know frozen stuff is cheating but I work long hours and there's no faffing having to brown everything first and its all SW friendly which is a bonus and it tastes delicious
