Is new medicine diluting the gene pool. Are we interfereing with natural selection?

Erm bulking it up, yeah it would be in some cases, but we have greater mastery of the world than ever before, so it doesn't really matter.

Yes, natural selection rarely applies anymore...

However, with genetic screening and selective abortion of deformed or malformed, sick foetuses modern medicine is also (in a minuscule way) positively altering the gene pool.

Yes we very much do so and dont start me ivf with 3 people etc... there is a very good natural selection why some people shouldn't populated the planet...
