wouldn't waste to much time or it will drive you crazy,

assume its a bloke winding you up which will make you feel better and move on

Does it matter? For once reason or another they've decided not to continue the conversation with you so might as well write that one off and move on.

"No message may be hello how are you etc"

Those messages bore me so I wouldn't be carrying on the converation...but...none of us will know why someone else didn't carry on mails with you.

What I wondered was if the message can be seen in full without being opened. EG in the reply thread.

Thanks for contributions on my first

ever thread. I cant quite work out what anyone gains from this approach rather than just saying "sorry you are not what we were looking for". It certainly would save you looking back. Im sure its a laugh for somebody.

Because 'sorry you aren't what we are looking for' isn't always taken well by the recipient. I've had 'why not' and some grief from a few people so a lot of people tend to just ignore or delete now.

theres 2 women on my hot list, who ive swapped messages with, that have deleted nigh on 3000 messages between them today..

so i can absolutely believe messages get lost in the swamp of messages these women get...

"Varuious times I have sent respectful messages, had a reply, continued the conversation, then unread . Can anyone explain?"

The most likely reason is they logged out and have since been inundated with more mail and yours has been pushed off the page.

Or maybe your first sentence which is visble without even opening the message, set's the tone for what your message is most likely to be about/contain/gist without even opening it.

Move on mate.
