What proportion of people actually use the Preview Message pane to review what they have written?

Some messages in the forums are almost impossible to fathom out due to spelling, lack of punctuation and general rambling content. In effect it wastes the author's time writing it in the first place.

Oberst Schicklegruber - Spelling Nazi.

How does a bad speller, a dyslexic , a person of near illiteracy check their own work.

What does it matter? Put some effort in.

Spelling mistakes don't bother me really. I mean, like Femme said, this is a forum not an A level exam. My spelling is pretty good, it's my typing that's shite!

It's the ones that are just so lazily typed they are really difficult to read. Text speak and complete lack of punctuation is just pure laziness - I have seem some posts that when written like this are just impossible to decipher!

Mind you, if I was to try and write something using just text speak, it would probably take me longer than typing it out properly! Surely text speak these days (particularly on an actual phone) is even more difficult with predictive text?

Nothing wrong with text speak on a phone. It was because of limited number of characters available.Strangely most people I know I know use etc. That's an abbreviated word. Is that wrong?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I rarely preview and I do get annoyed when I see that typing too quickly means I have missed a word or made a typo(graphical error).

I'm always eager to ensure I get my post up before the thread is closed or it disappears. I don't always succeed.
