We should laud the unsung treasures the UK has to offer. What is your favourite artwork in a UK collection, the one you return to tine and again? Best collections in the world and FREE!

Mine are 'vulcan' by Eduardo pallazzio in Edinburgh's dean gallery and canova's 'Cupid and pysche' at Chatsworth house.

I love everything the Chapman Brothers do but "Hell" is an incredible piece of work and by far my favourite of there's.

Rockford

The Cortauld Gallery on London has the most amazing collection of impressionist paintings. The building is cool too. Also the Tate modern astounds me... I am shocked that some of it can be called art but its very thought provoking

Because I have a direct connection to some of the sculptures produced by Paul Neagu..... I'm obliged to say his work ticks my box….

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

The Pre-Raphaelite collections at Manchester and Birmingham Art Galleries are pretty good, as is the Hieronymus Bosch stuff at Edinburgh Art Gallery. I like visiting the Barbara Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield too.

Mine would have to be an Andy Warhol piece, canvas of Mick jagged. I used this piece as an idea for my gcse art final.

Love Warhols work. Jack Vettriano "the singing butler" is another one of my favourites.

Closer than you think

Anything by Barbara Hepworth does it for me, but the best place to see them is in the garden of her studio in St Ives.

I also love the amazing paintings of the Yorkshire Wilds by Malcolm Ludvigsen (and the more colourful ones by that other bloke).

On the other hand, I can't abide Jack Vetriano: look at the work of Edward Hopper to see how derivative JV's stuff is.

Rodin's The Kiss is the most amazing sculpture I think.

I also love the work of Andy Goldsworthy.
