What a thread is going to be about by looking at who the OP is?

Some people have a pattern for threads and posts of a certain nature

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I thought this one was going to say "heaven from hell" because you started it.

heaven from hell

Blue skies from pain.

Can you tell a green field

From a cold steel rail?

A smile from a veil?

Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade

Your heroes for ghosts?

Hot ashes for trees?

Hot air for a cool breeze?

Cold comfort for change?

And did you exchange

A walk on part in the war

For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.

We're just two lost souls

Swimming in a fish bowl,

Year after year,

Running over the same old ground.

And how we found

The same old fears.

Wish you were here.

With some people yes as they are very predictable.

I apologise unreservedly to the OP. I was expecting it to be about Pink Floyd.

Some posters make the titles clear. There are about 6 or 7 people that I can see their name and know what to expect. Most others mix it up a bit.

No apology needed, once it is out there the thread is free to go where the board takes it.

Glad the title wasn't too obvious

Only occasionally. Usually a thread like "One for the Lady's" posted by someone called luv2fuk12345 is going to be along one track.

But otherwise I find I've been surprised.

When i enter the forums i look for the author of the thread before looking at the titles. Over the previous 2 years i like to think i know who is likely to post what type of thread.

I will read the opening post on most threads, but tend not to post much these days compared to what i used too.

Yes, which is good as I can save myself the bother of opening the thread.

There's a few I'm fairly sure about and whether fireworks will follow so I try to choose wisely as to whether to open the thread or not...there's a good few whose threads I'll always open because I like their style of posting and regardless of who posts it, if its got the word "football" in it, I don't open it. I always try to make my thread titles a bit obscure to try and lure folk in -after all, what's the point of screaming LOOK AT MEEEEEEE!!! if no fecker actually looks

Oh, and I never open anything by that daft twat Mysteriousguy
