"12 months between relationships is a good guide, 2 days between sex dates " What about if they are good/long term acquaintances? Basically I know someone who came out of a relationship about 2 weeks back and they are entering another one.

"Dating... Simple. ASK! As for timeline to dating again after a failed relationship... There is NO right or wrong time, It's when it feels right for both involved!" So if I came up to you and said "fancy coming for a drink tonight"? That sound like an invite as a mate or romantically? How can you tell the difference?

If you want a date say....... I'd like to TAKE you for a few drinks tonight. ( smile and look a bit coy like you don't want to be rejected. It doesn't matter if you are an arrogant git just look like you're about to be crushed with a no ) If you want a mate say ....... Fancy a bevvy tonight. I'm bored of being stuck in. If not I'll go for one on me own then read. ( body language and face sort of indifferent and shruggy )
