That's the beauty of 'Friends' - you can watch it anytime and just drop into it. Sure, there's a difference in the characters from the 1st series to the last one but the humour is fundamentally the same and I enjoy each episode for it's own merit. Shame it all ended really but then the best series always go out on a high.

Can't watch Will and Grace either.

Scrubs I can, as I found it very witty and funny, and has a hunk that I like - that middle age doc, whatever his name!

There are about 100 better alternatives. Friends is ironing TV where you don't need your brain in gear to watch it.
