Summer break is over and almost time for another few laps of my favorite sport. What does everyone think of todays race? Nice to see Paul Di Resta had a good qualifying. Got a feeling he will be on podium today, and he deserves it, hes much better then his car

Agreed, you only have to look back at that victory in Canada a few years ago for a prime example of his wet weather driving..

Probably the best race performance by any driver in the last decade, perhaps since Senna!

Definitely safe to say! Hoping Kimi goes to red bull as well. Don't think he'd like to be second driver behind Vettel though

I hate it when moto gp and F1 have european races on the same day... means it feels like the coverage overlaps....

anyway... love spa.... love changeable weather and the fact is it so big then it rains in one bit but not in another....

Kimi won't play second fiddle to Vettel, not in a million years. If he goes to Red Bull I'm guessing he'll insist on being on equal terms to Vettel.

I'd like him to win more and develop Lotus though...

" Got a feeling he will be on podium today, and he deserves it, hes much better then his car"

Sorry but Paul di Resta annoys the hell out of me.

Thinks he's way better than recent evidence would suggest; constantly carping about how he beat Hamilton and Vettel in some junior series. So what? I'm sure there are a few tennis players who beat Roger Federer way back when; you don't hear them sounding off about it.

On strategy, he's the first to curse out his team when there's a strategic error, but the first to praise himself when things go right. Was practically stroking himself yesterday on that tyre call in qualifying.

Sooner he goes back to DTM the better, IMO.

(Rant ends here ).

I'm not a fan, no.

I think he's a competent driver. Not nearly as prodigiously talented as he seems to think though.

I suppose, if he never said another word for the rest of his career I could grow to like him.

Tend to agree. There's a bit of a 'Nigel Mansell' about him in that he is quick to blame everyone else when it goes wrong and take all the credit when it goes right...

ted.
