PM = Private Message for those that are not familiar with chat terminology

Not sure if you mean in chat or in the forums or to messages you recieve or friends invites or winks ?

I think you should answer at any time in PM if you want to ask a question or make a point that you would not like made public (only good manners) but i'm not sure if they will get it if they have blocked single males.

I agree with the above, you can mail someone at anytime re thier post in the forums if you would prefer to speak to them more privately about a subject.

However if it's more along the lines of wanting to contact someone with a view to a meet etc perhaps because they have just commented on a desire to meet bi men or single men or young men etc then I would read thier profile first to ensure that you are within thier search criteria ie smokers, non smokers, size, age etc which may or may exclude you.

_zmale, do what u want. there are no rules to how to contact peoeple, read their profile or not, they can only ignore ya, i dont read people profiles before i email them.

just do what u feel is right init

Kitty is right and so am I, it's a personal choice thing, some don't care about criteria and will mail anyone, and some care, the choice is yours.

Personally I think that those who ignore criteria are ignorant, rude and wasting the time of those they contact, but thats just my opinion and as you can see we all think different, there are no rights or wrongs on that score just opinions.

I thought you might like my advice because by coming into the forums and asking the question about contact in the first place you have already shown that you care about what people think and about approaching people with mails.

Thx again. yes you're soooooooo right I do care about other ppl's likes and dislikes and I rerspect everyone for who they are and what they are looking for.

In the past i have found that this helps develope great friendships and relationships as everyone is relaxed and knows where they stand.

Make sure you start your private message with the correct address, as a lot of the women on here are bloody finnicky about being addressed correctly.

I'm not talking about 'hun' or 'love' or 'sweetheart' or 'babe' - their profiles usually make it quite clear that they are miserable loveless old hags who can't stand terms of endearment.

No, I suggest you start with something along the lines of:

Use the "Reply Privately" option if you do not wish for your response to be displayed in the open, e.g. sharing something personal etc...

If you don't mind your comment/advice/opinion being seen by others, then use "Reply to Forum" option.
