Dental Dams all sorts to keep safe ?

You ever used a Dental Dam for oral ? Was reading about them .. they say lot more are into them in a study ? Some STDs require an open wound to be spread, I know many swingers (including myself) who will not floss their teeth or shave their privates within 12 hours before engaging in any sexual activities with others in order to minimize the risk of any microscopic cuts inside their mouths or near their genitals. That’s a smart practice I feel . Then reading about dental dams it would put me off oral sex if a person put one on I know .... would it you ? I would feel like they was saying I was unclean , And I feel I am super clean , its strange but it would put me off ..

ive used them they feel shit

If I met a guy and he whipped out a dental dam i'd tell him to just not bother, there's not a great deal of feeling so pointless, I would rather a guy not go down on me than me lay there bored while he's licking thro latex achieving nothing

you might be superclean but he might not be. Safe sex is about protecting both of you isn't it?

a condom on the tongue works better, even brushing your teeth can cause bleeding, so places for germs and virus to get in, both from giver and recipient, exchanging blood is never a good idea, as

I think some people are a little to over cautious

I have been doing this for 11 years now and have never used protection for oral and have never caught anything

its good to be safe but you can got over the top and spoil your fun

I agree (and that was my illusion with the NBC comment).

Its a risk vs reward situation, and I feel that if you feel have to mitigate so much perceived risk that there becomes little or no reward, it's probably time to stop and rethink because the paranoia has taken over.

I think that people must do as they see fit to play safe but I do think that you should make your limits clear before play commences. At one time I insisted on condoms for oral and we made it very clear on our profile...mind you no one seemed to take any notice and were very surprised when we mentioned it
