Preference shouldn't become an ist or an ism

Just because you have a preference does it necessarily follow that you become an 'ist' or have an 'ism'? Another thread regarding height got me thinking that a lot of people fear expressing a preference incase they're labelled in this way.

For example,even though I'm only 5ft 3 I do like men to be a lot taller than me simply because tall in stature equals sexy long limbs that I love being entwined and overpowered in and that feeling really turns me on. This doesn't make me heightist nor am I ageist because I tend to fancy men in my preferred age range.

I have been with a really short guy and doggy position wasn't as satisfying because he couldn't reach round and fondle my breasts at same time or reach to kiss my neck,without it interfering with the rhythm so it just resulted in frustration. I have a friend who met a really petite girl of 4ft 11 and as he is 6ft 3 he said he was almost crouching when he doggied her and it did his knees in!!

What turns you on sexually should not make you elitist to a certain group of people as you cannot help your sexual instincts and what physical attributes you find irresistable. Sexual attraction is the main thing that makes you horny and you will choose a person almost subconsciously whith those attributes you find a turn on, above anything else.

The added bonuse of a fab personality is the icing on the cake, but many of us are guilty of choosing the wrong person because you can ignore their not so nice attitude, because they have the look you like (although almost certainly doomed for failure!)

If individuals don't suit anothers ideal it should not automatically be assumed that there is prejudice. However if someone says I don't fancy you because you're a shortarse, a big fucken twat or a fat old git... thats definately the sign of someone with real issues!!

It really is ok to like some things and not others without fear of being an 'ist'.

I have a fear of confined spaces and sharing toilet facilities so I would never commit a crime to have to go into one....

some very valid, well thought out responses to the OP's question and I am sure she now feels that the question has been adequately answered with a good variety of opionis.

Personally ism's and ist's dont bother me, if I only want to meet people aged 18-24 some will say I am ageist, well I am ageist, as our profile says we only want to meet people from 18-97.

Label me if you want it doesn't bother me, I did disagree about the height thread, I thought the opposite, that a lot of people had replied admitting thier height preferences and were not bothered at having them known.

People just get offended at the least bit of thing. They think that I only like black as been with black. Or the fact that most meets are in twenties does that mean I only will do these things. But if read or talk to me will see the reasons behind not just doing black and have done older. But do they ask?
