I think they are brilliant! I think that Prince William and Catherine are down to earth and will breathe some fresh air into the royal family. Diana would be very proud.

Some news reports are slating the photos, saying they are badly focussed/ shot into the light/ not fit for royals etc. I think they are lovely.

What do you think?

I think they're lovely, they were critiqued in my paper but the photographer said he'd rather see a happy couple and baby on slightly fuzzy pics than amazing pics with Wils n Kate looking strained...

Brand Windsor, of course they look happy!..to be fair William actually does look happy with the child, unlike his father who gazed upon his as if they were aliens.

The pic in the papers show a very happy family ....... I think its really lovely and have a real family feel about it. A breath of fresh air .. And Di would be so so happy to see that just a normal family pic not them being told how to sit and dress and sit together .. its just a happy new family we see .

They are natural, happy looking pictures and including the dog gives them a real sense of family.

Yes, lovely. Not quite as good as they should/could have been, but okay for an amateur.

An amateur who, if he has been sensible, has not signed copyright over to the Crown and kept it for himself.

Should make him a nice, tidy sum over the next few years....

yes I think its lovely .. Grandad did the family pic . x so a lot missed out on making 1000s from his first family pic s good on them I say ..
