Morphine fun or morphine nightmare?

Or did you get less eventful pain relief?

Hi peaches - wishing you a speedy recovery

I believe it was knee surgery ?

I had my left knee done last September, and am now back running races again, so don't despair

Maybe we could compare scars

It's the damn clips they put in

I had my knee cap fused by a bone graft, so had piece of my shin taken out - double scars

Bio oil when the wound is closed

My ortho registrar said olive oil or most any oil would do the trick on my hip replacement scar so no need to fork out on any expensive stuff...I did have coconut oil already but when that ran out I used extra virgin olive oil and still do...the scar isn't too bad.

Hope you're soon feeling better Peaches - morphine is a wonderful drug, though it did make me puke for England immediately after my op

Glad to hear yours is ok caz. I have all sorts of cream here including bio oil so i will just slap whatever on it once its heeled. It looks so horrible though. yuck .

As for morphine, it dont even make me feel sick. lmao .comes from taking meds for to long me thinks.

It only made me puke immediately after the op, poss cos it was IV...I'd been taking trammies, amitriptylene, co codamol, oramorph, Valium and diclofenac on and off/permanently prior...within a fortnight I was only taking anti coagulants and the occasional paracetamol - hope your pain is reduced accordingly

As for it looking yuk - too fecking right it does and you think it'll be like that for ever...my scar is still fairly vivid 8 months down the line but it seldom crosses my mind
