Solihull

like a nice soft irish voice and a swedish accent for starters

had a girl talk to me in Swedish when we played, assumed it was complimentary but could have been doing a running commentary of how bad I was

Titz Towers, North Notts

I like the Geordie accent, but when we went up there on holiday I never once heard a, 'Why aye, man'. I felt so disappointed. The Northumbrian tourist board never did reply to my email of complaint....

We still use it as a phrase but only ironically and only to another Geordie.

I used to have delicious phone encounters with a horny Geordie fella!

To be honest give me a northern accent anyday!

Reminded me of '8 out of 10 cats does Countdown' the other week, when Jon Richardson said to Sarah Millican (who was about to pick her letters) "If you get a Y and then an I, you can't just stop there. That's not a word."
