meet sucess locally to you

First of all this isnt one of those whiny im a single guy cant get a meet posts. In my opinion i think iv done well in my time on here. I interact on forums a bit attend socials and send polite messages after reading profiles.

What im wanting to know about from people is how they get on with meets local to them. As in my experience a lot of my meets have involved putting in the miles, and travelling out of town. So how do others find the people local to them is my question.

Yeah meets in that direction get a bit fishy lol. But being serious i find the scene around me very hard to crack. Whereas when i arrange meets out of town they are much easier to find and set up.

I stick to a 5 mile radius, and works fine, found 50 people on site within my area, of course the ones 100@s of miles look attractive, that's because its a safe bet we will never meet,

the internet is about fantasy, a bit like swinging, what you cant have you desire, whats available isn't as attractive, same with cars, houses, most things in life.

Ive been licky enought to find a couple of single girls very local to me and 2 couples and i mean literallly 5 mins drive also plenty of meets in newcastle n surrounding areas which are still quite local, just luck of the draw i think m8

Like you Rich I live on the coast so my search area is half of that compared to someone inland.

Travelling isn't an issue if you know the person / people you are meeting are genuine and as long as you don't get there and have been played the fool. Never happened to me yet but then the furthest I've travelled over the on off years I've swung is about 30miles.

Always amuses us when people offer to travel over 100 miles (normally single guys) surely they can find fun closer to home.

Having had one local just turn up unannounced on our door step and the kids answer the door to him we try to stick to 10-30 miles away. Keeps a healthy just in case distance

Most of my meetings have been away from the Inverness area. Partly due to the remoteness but mainly because once I whittled out all the idiots, people I wouldn't meet and people who weren't interested in me I was left with 1 person!

Nearly every single one of my meets has been with someone from a goodly distance away

It does make repeat meets more difficult, but they are worth it

I'd, obviously, like to meet someone a little closer to home, but not too close

I live an hour away from any major town so finding local meets is difficult but recently found a couple folk within 10miles that understands the meaning of text and wait to be invited haha

Never had meets very local all been 20 min drive so not to bad, not got problem travelling and been checking out the women in Geordie land recently. Good I love there voice

Never meet anyone from our town or surrounding area. We prefer to travel, meet at clubs or we'll book a hotel.

We prefer to travel, not keen on local people knowing what we get up to!

We usually have to travel at least 30 miles, and more usually 50 miles and book a hotel for socials and fun meets.

In my area theres a lot of active singles and couples but i think its the small town fear of people finding out that is the problem. Its a shame really that the lifestyle is not understood so easily.

My preference is for travelling and a hotel stay as this puts a sense of occasion on the meet. I have had occasional local meets (within 10 miles) but they are few and far between ... still looking and hoping though.

We often choose to go out of town it can be far less complicated for afterwards.
