It's down to genetics/ socialization or nature and nurture if you like.

Women are no needier than men.

Men are no less callous than women.

It's a nature/nurture argument really, are men conditioned not to need emotional connection, or is that behavior hard wired?

Conversely, are women conditioned to require emotion sexually, or is it that behavior genetically driven.

A swingers site might not give the least biased sample, but plenty of men and women on here seem to enjoy sex without the need for an emotional connection.

Yep was easier for me when I was newly single, but several years on my needs have changed. I'm not sure exactly what I want, so I won't meet until I do

It depends, don't we always use some level of emotion... Could I have sex with a woman who's attitude made me defensive and bristly? No. Could I have sex with a woman whose morals abhore me? Nope.

I don't think guys need to go as far emotionally as women do, but I don't think you can say that a guy can have sex without emotion.

I have the theory that we can have sex in a wider range of emotional states though.

from experience i have to say that ive had more sex with men where i have not wanted to get involved or have any hassles.

Ive had countless blokes bitch out on me or have issues where they want to start seeing you or have issues with you having other meets.

so in my opinion i think sometimes the guys are more needy than than the women...most the women on here know exactly what they want.

I think it's more about a sense of connection. Some women I've met have been attractive but it's been purely physical act. With others there has been a connection, as if the whole thing was more of a shared experience. I prefer the latter but its difficult to know before hand how its going to be.

men have a million seeds to sow, women have about 7 eggs to fertilize,

men generally can separate sex from emotions, and many see it as a recreational past time.

Women have been conditioned from childhood to select a man based on his ability to provide, father and protect.

Of course there are like with everything exceptions to this, and on a swingers site, the likleyhood is most people are here for fun and knee tremblers, rather than emotional connections.

I don't think its a male female thing ... Just some people need more of a connection than others .... I personally need to be good friends with my play mates in and out of the bedroom ....
