Just been responding to an attempt to use reverse psychology to persuade me to meet someone.

Kudos has to be given cos it's a technique noones tried on me before on here!

What's been the most original approach you've encountered?

Before I even knew about this site I went on to another to explore what this internet sex world was about.

One of the first messages I got was from a man who just wrote, "It says you are only 0km from me but I've looked out of the window and I can't see you". He attached a picture of him in a hat with the most gorgeous, deep blue eyes I have ever seen.

It worked.

Many years ago MSN hosted open chatrooms. My now misses happened to pop into a chatroom I was hosting. After doing the usual greetings she said..

'Be right back I need a pee'

So I said as a quip, 'Do you need a hand?'

Anyway, as it turned out because of my comment she thought I might be a bit of a pervert so came back and chatted some more, that was 14 years ago

A guy mailed me on another site and said he lived down south but was in my area working and did I fancy a drink some time. I figured it was just a chat up line and he was actually local. Turned out he was telling the truth. I did meet him.

I rather enjoyed it.

Though it took a few messages for him to realise it wasn't working.

Surely you could say the same thing to having a sandwich i.e eating. Or driving really fast i.e racing. Simply because you are either eating or driving doesn't make everything we do an entirely dull/single exercise
