I persistently do this..

Put a White wash on thinking I've got everything in there, start the wash, walk into my bathroom and find I've left a friggin white tee on my hook!

I drop the matching knickers to a set on the way to the washer and then don't have any more whites to wash for at least another week

then put it in the wash basket & not leave it on the hook. I normaly find that I've dropped a pair of panties or a sock on the way to the washing machine. x

I don't, but husband does

I think it is like when I was a kid and mum asked me to wash up, I used to deliberately leave a teaspoon or something unwashed as a kind of protest at having to do it.

Not so much...

But I regularly put a whites wash on and, as its going round, spot a rogue black sock....

Black socks don't generally lose much colour.

It's when its a pair of red knickers...

I managed to ruin nearly 500quids worth of underwear with a stray pair of black boxers... I had decided to wash my white undies all together... It all turned grey

I often get something on my fave jeans or something (perks of having a 2 year old mucky buggers) and think ill wash those now so they are clean for tomorrow. So I get the laundry bin. Put everything in. Start it off, then ten mins later realise I'm still wearing the jeans with the sticky hand print on!

Not a problem I have, although, you can guarantee when I do my final wash, I'll always drop something on the way to the machine and not notice til after I've put it on!!
