Today sees the passing on of

Slawomir Mrozek, the Polish playwright, aged 83

August Schellenberg, the actor, aged 77

and

Jannina Depping, the German Rally car driver, aged 34.

Just three of the many that have tootled off to the other side, missed by many. R.I.P
