How many do you have on your bed a few months ago I only had 4 but now I have 6 on and its more comfy

I don't sleep with my head on a pillow but I have a down filled pillow on the bed (more for appearance than actual comfort!).

as you get older , you tend to need more pillows, it helps remove liquid from your lungs and heart, now your past 50, the more pillows the better.

Five. Two either side and my baby pillow (replacement) for propping things.

I need a cool side so keep moving them around.
