Hey, im heading to london, beginning of sept, looking for a good hotel, good food, central without being a bank breaker. Any suggestions fabbers???

Don't eat at the hotels, as there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Try the ones from the Imperial London Hotels chain, all except the County has en-suite rooms and reasonably prices for being in WC1!!!

The Royal National is massive and can be quite noisy. The Tavistock is quieter.

The Imperial is supposed to be the best.

I prefer to stay at the Holiday Inn near Russell Square tube station myself, as it is off the main road and quieter.

Try the German YMCA

Just near marble arch

Cheap as chips and does the job just fine
