I probably would have replied to a message like that as it is quite witty but as a rule, I generally do reply with a no thanks. Then I get a message back saying why. So I send a message saying because you're not what I'm looking for. Then I get one back saying what are you looking for. So I say, not you. Then I get one back saying, but you don't know me. Blah! Blah! Blah!

Bearing in mind I can get 5 - 10 new messages a day (even with my very restrictive message filters) if I replied no thanks to all of them then it would take too much time. So, in my experience men just can't take no for an answer so it's easier just to say nothing and block.

If I said what I want to say to the 'fancy a fuck' guys then I'll be banned, apparently!

I am yet to learn the skill but its about reading and judging a person before messaging them some don't want chat and are here to fuck, some like to be wooed but most are pretty ignorant! It doesn't take much to say no thanks in fact I'd prefer it if they just blocked me..... and yeah we take the time to write a serious or funny eye catching message just be ignored, there's only Soo much we take before we lose heart

I must be rare as if I send a message and I get a clear cut no thanks I just don't bother again as your time & mine is in far to short a supply to worry about what your looking for if it is not me!!

As I am only interested if you are willing to meet or I would spend all day wondering how/what/if/maybe no thanks does me fine

From the FAQs on this site:-

"It's not rude not to reply.

There is no button to send a 'thanks but no thanks' message.

If there was, I wouldn't use it. Sending a reply means that we can't then filter OUT that person using the filter facility.

Sending a reply also triggers "why not", "please change your mind", "your loss", "you're ugly anyway" messages.

You're not entitled to a reply. Get over it!

You I suspect OP reply to every piece of junk mail, be it in your inbox or letter box with a no thank you? No of course not
