So, I'm on holiday from work for 2 weeks. My mom has been away for a long birthday weekend. She popped in today to see if I had any washing/ironing as she does do 90% of mine along with my housework and cuts the lawn when I'm at normally at work. Not because I ask and not because I'm lazy. She does it to help me out as I'm a single working mom.

So now I'm packing mine and my son's cases as we are off to visit Dad on our annual visit to Spain, (dad always pays for my son's flight).

Anyway, the long and the short of this post is to say how lucky both myself and my boy are to have my wonderful parents! and, yes, I do tell them how grateful I am.

Dad is also recovering from a recent heart attack so can't wait to see him!!xx

Parents like to do what they can for their kids no matter their age. Its nice that you appreciate it hope you have a lovely holiday and your dad is fit and well.

It's good that you have your parents on hand...as there are plenty of single parents who don't have that...enjoy your holiday
