Do you find it frustrating when a person's profile says they are online but they are not? Is there any way of shutting them down after 10 mins or so if they are not 'active' as it is very misleading?

I dont think so. If I look to see who is online to send a message and they appear to be there but they are not? Just annoying.Some websites have a 'sleeping' icon to indicate that the person is not available.

Ive found that if i use fabs on my phone and dont log out, just shut the browser that it leaves me logged in. might me the case for others

I never log out when I use my phone so goodness knows what it looks like !!!

Im probably online 24/7

Or maybe as in my case, I may be online for the forums or chat with existing friends/contacts, doesn't mean I want to reply to all unsolicited mail, so if I don't respond it's because I am not in the mood, quite simple

Ok, I should have specified 'friends' but made it general. I dont fret over sending messages to other people, that would be rude.

No yours goes on and off. As soon as you do something on your phone other than be on fab it shows you as offline. There is a 6-7 minute delay as the system updates tho

If spotted the delay Steven when someone logs off and system updates. I also leave myself logged on all the time & never close the browser.

I just leave my laptop of phone logged on so it looks as if I'm always on line. I've had 4 messages from the same person in the space of two hours!
