I like to have an idea of what other people do and don't like. A bit of a discussion about what we might do- such as role play ideas etc. Not lots of detail though.

I find it quite difficult to get excited about a meet if the other person/ people won't chat at all.

Do you chat to people about what your likes and dislikes are before a meet?

Yep definitely like to chat about preferences and ideas

I think it's a good way to see if you're both on the same wavelength. Plus it turns me on just thinking about it before we meet

Yes, there must be a meeting of minds for a truly successful evening of fun.

Meeting of minds is important. For me being asked what I am "into" is a turn off.

Me too.. but I never know quite how to ask. Is it better to give some examples of what we like and then see if the other person is up for the same?

Just ask!

If you don't ask you don't get.

Yeah i do its always good to get an insight and to see if they are what you want.

I think someone who liked lots of things i didn't would not make a great meet...but tbf there isn't much i don't like.

Need to know basis

I cannot meet someone who does not share his/her fantasies with me and is not prepared to hear mine...tells me what they like or do not like.

The build up and anticipation that mounts during the few weeks running up to a meet sets the schene and makes the encounter that much better, that much more enjoyable.

You are asking for trouble and strife if you don't inform people through chat about your quirks and fetishes in my book. I can honestly say if someone isn't prepared to chat and discus things prior to a meet I would be in two minds if it should be called off or not.

I had that recently. We were sorting a meet on our couples profile. We both sent chatty mails to another couple but got barely anything back, it was really weird. They said they wanted to meet us but then all they would reply was with details of where we'd meet. So we're not meeting them.

North Wales

We get messages from couples wanting to meet for 'fun' the thing is our idea of fun may be different to theirs! lol

We like to chat about likes and dislikes and have an idea of scenarios that they may enjoy or want to try. Engaging our minds is part of the fun and without it nothing else will follow
