stroppy people on forum

Anyone else find some people down right stroppy on here at times .. we all post asking questions and asking opinions but some people responses are just stroppy and can be rude at times

Me too but they can still see your posts on here and comment on them

I've recently become very dis-heartened with the site and only stay on to read the stories etc but reading through some found certain people can be a little ..shall we say rude in their replies to others ... Its meant to be a laugh and enjoyable

I think that if the forum was all sweetness and sunshine it would be very boring. I don't like stroppyness, I don't think there's any need for it. Banter and discussion of differing opinions is good though. I just ignore the stroppy people. I ignore myself when I get stroppy.

There were several very stroppy users in another forum a while back which was the main reason I started coming into the lounge. Then they put me right off the forums for a while but as I suspected, they've got bored and buggered off so now I'm slowly heading back to my old haunts.

I get frustrated on here sometimes and on occasions my posts can come across as a little short and to some may look stroppy but I'm honestly learning to just not read some posts. I think if people just used a little common sense and read the FAQs on the site and used the Forum search option to see if there question is already asked & answered it would reduce the number of duplicate threads, however it's not going to happen, so I need to change how I use the forums.

I do think some people just post to get a reaction on here and if you aren't a regular visitor it's hard to spot that some might appear stroppy but actually aren't. Think we all have off days on here.
