Credit card interest

Does anyone know about credit card interest and statements?. I got my monthly statement today, and ive it's carried over from the previous month as ive not used it to purchase anything, so just interest has been added. If i pay it off at the due date, will no more interest be applied or will interest be applied every day until i pay it off?.

Its a minefield the best bet is to phone your card company if you want to query charges if they can't explain them they may well drop them.

you will acrue interest every day of the month, so if you pay your card off in full at your due date, you will get another bill next month for one months interest.
