Do you like your job ?

Despite having my job for 20 years and being good at it. I despise the fact that I'm expected to be on call 24/7 and available for phone calls during hols.

The only plus side is 95% of the time it's not hard work, I pick my shifts, get 33 days hol a year and orher than phone calls i generally work on my own.

I enjoy my job as I couldn't imagine just sitting in an office all day long, I like to have variety of being out on site and office based as well

I love my job, been doing it 18 years. My job involves installing technology in vulnerable and elderly folks homes to help them live independently in their own homes.

When I was working I had a boss who thought he could be this, I even got pulled back of a two week holiday after four days because there was a problem no one else could sort. My partner at the time stopped on holiday and by the time she came back I had changed jobs. My boss was shocked offered to almost double my salary, pay for a better holiday, brand new 4x4 and I still left. My grandfather always used to say you a long time dead. If you are so valuable to the company they need to remember you need your down time

Nope, I frickin' hate my current job but I took whatever I could to get off JobSeekers and at least it gives me SOMETHING while looking for something else.

Despite the amount of shit - often literally - I have to deal with, my job is great! I rarely come home from a shift genuinely not thinking that I've helped at least someone, and guys I work with are some of the most genuine, funny and caring people I know. To all of my colleagues on here - you people are fantastic, thank you!
