Just wanted to say Eid Mubaruk to all those who are celebrating today.

P.s may be the reason you could have seen quite a few Asian men in pajamas today

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Oh! I thought it was yesterday. I spent the day wishing people a happy Eid Mubaruk and offering out dates (edible not Fab). Has the moon finally been spotted then?

I did Eid yesterday, and never got my dates lol.

As for the moon, it depends on which country you follow on moon sighting. In this country seeing the new moon is very difficult, therefore rely on sightings in other parts of the world.

I was told off by someone yesterday as the moon hadn't yet been seen. It was 11am by then so I think they had a bit of a wait.

I'm not Muslim so while I know a bit I don't know the intricacies of these things. It was nice just to offer dates around and wish people well.

I being a Muslim not too sure of the intricacies myself. I just follow the mosque in my vicinity.

And it's very kind of you to offer dates and wish people well.

I do the same at Easter with chocolate eggs and the same at Purim with sweets for the kids and alcohol for the adults.
