Thought i would mention that if anyone is in or around Bristol today the magnificent Red Arrows will be doing a display at 4pm over Ashton court.

If you drive up to Dundry ( off the A38 ) you can get a brilliant free view of the full display and have to say it is bloody awesome !!!

Also on saturday the RAF Typhoon will be doing a fly by at 1pm and 4pm

Just in reply to the people who don't like aircraft noise - why live next to an airfield on an area of intense activity?

Lincolnshire is also known as Bomber COunty and if I could I'd be happy to move next door to Scampton!

They go right over my house during parts of the display when they come to Plymouth.

Been on ships off the Lincolnshire coast and they used to do practice runs on you. Guaranteed to wake you up.

Some would be envious of your frequent chances to see the Reds and the BBMF training, as well as a host of visiting aircraft.

Im lucky that the Vulcan is based only 10 minutes from my house. Regularly when it is doing the shows I will go down doggers lane by the side of the runway to see it take off and land

North Bristol

Ooooh, what's the Typhoon coming in honour of? I'll be keen to see that.

Dundry's also great for NYE fireworks. We went up there this year and had an amazing view over the city. Was bloody cold tho!

That's where we go to see the red arrows as you get the best and full panoramic view
