ran out of tea bags yesterday....could not be bothered to go to shop so have been drinking juice and water all day.

Head has been banging all afternoon so gave in and bought some tea bags. 3 mugs later and headache no longer exists....

.

.

coincidence...or is it about time I started cutting down and weaning myself off the tea??????????

If anything it'll be the caffeine in the tea you're missing. I quit caffeine some time ago now, I say quit I maybe have some twice a month max. Thing with this is your body isn't used to it and I get massive rushes off the likes of a costa or starbucks

Call me bland but all I drink any other time is water, green tea and the odd de-caff coffee.

I'd drink more but I'm a sleep most the day with working nights which is probably a good thing

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

The amount of caffeine in tea is ridiculously small. It's probably just habit.

Having said that, give up drinking tea?? Are you out of your mind???

Caffeine is an incredibly harmful drug. I quit coffee (German bloody strong stuff) to get pregnant following my 2nd miscarriage as there is strong evidence it's linked. Had awful withdrawal sickness, cramps, headaches, blurred vision. I thought I had flu, dr sussed it was coming off caffeine cold.

It's also strongly linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, changes in fat cells...

I drink water or weak squash now.

Nr Dumfries

I can always tell when I haven't had enough coffee - consider myself addicted. But it gets me through the day and I love it, I'm not doing harm to anyone else so I'll carry on drinking it!
