I have found in the past that the vast majority of swingers are well rounded, open minded decent people. But of late  I have been seeing a lot more offence profiles and attitudes that I find unacceptable. Am I the only person to see this.

The membership is now huge. I'm only guessing, but a good proportion of the members are not what you would traditionally class as swingers. They use it more as a sex contact site. The same as any other part of life. You will get the good with the bad.

Aren't offensive profiles deleted if reported?

"You have changed, others haven't,"

I do find the suggestion a hold category of people can change. Its a matter of perception as per the above

I could just be being over sensative. The profile was very blunt about not wanting to meet anyone who was and i quote "fat smelly or thick". He is only interested in meeting thin intelligent people .

Each to their own. I'm sure after reading that the profile didn't get any "fat smelly or thick" people contacting him.

'Discrimination' ???

Someone who wont meet someone with traits, features they don't like but will meet with people with features they do like is not being discriminatory.

Actually, that's the classic definition of being discriminatory. Its us that assume that 'discrimination' is a bad way to be.

Is it just the one profile that you found unacceptable because I got the impression there were loads after you said.......

Can't say I have noticed any difference...

Everyone has preferences it's just some state them more politely than others.

He maybe could have chosen better words but he is just putting across his preferences. Says something about the profile owner that they have used such blunt language, the effect being that those he doesn't want to hear from won't contact him, plus it will probably put a few others off too.

So if i wont meet someone because I dont like something about them or they're simply not the kind've people I go for I'm being discriminatory.

Thanks for the piece of education

My mistake. I am getting it mixed up with discriminating.

Discriminating - Having or showing refined taste or good judgment

Discriminatory - showing an unfair or prejudicial distinction between different categories of people or things

isn't discrimination referring to a group or perceived group, not to an individual. you can discriminate against a person if you perceive them to be a member of a group of people you don't like or trust - hence sexual, religious or racial discrimination. you cant discriminate against 'thick or smelly' because they transcend all groups of people. therefore you select (naturally) not to shag a smelly person.

your right it is the blunt language that i didnt like and the response i got when i messaged him to ask did he really mean to offend people. the gist of which was i dont like fat people carry on eating the doughnuts!i was only trying to point out that if you word your profile in a polite way that you are more likely to get invitations.
