willful neglect

so hospital staff are going to be held accountable for any neglect that is proved under their care ...how about .. slightly radical .. staff can sue the government for allowing them to run these shift with staffing numbers that they know can in no way monitor the wards or theatres that they are employed to monitor .. would that work ??

Willful neglect is different to muddling through under crap circumstances and, sadly, getting it wrong.

Willful neglect extends to not reporting a culture of "dont give a fuck" as existed in Stafford.

And yes, staff are due a duty of care, and that care includes not expecting them to work in conditions which cause them emotional distress, or causes them to question their ethical stance.
