watching a programme on cars and its no wonder BL went bust.what a crock of shit they really were.plus the workforce were work shy left wingers

remember as a kid my mates dad had an allegro haha junk on wheels

Remember my dad telling me that the workers Drank tea most of the time and if there was a Delay in one car it affected the whole chain.. so more often than not a Delay would happen so most of the workers sat about for 20 or 30 minutes at a time..

All British car bike and truck manufacturing died from lack of investment.

They were doing things by hand when everyone else re-tooled with robotic production lines, and modern design

Many cars are still built in the uk but owned by German and other countries.

lack of investment,plus over zealous unions,weak management,and poor design,it was a recipe for disaster.

if we don't start realising that industries survival depends on being competitive,the worst has yet to come.
