Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Well, it really isn't a postcard but the dog is away on holiday and I was sent a picture of him on holiday swimming with his friends. He looked like he was having jolly time.

The kids and family are on holiday abroad and they haven't sent any postcards yet. So the dog is ahead.

Have you had any holiday postcards yet?

It seems Facebook has replaced post cards. I'm getting lots of updates from friends on holiday.

That'll be my problem as I don't do Facebook.

Sorry! Yes, he's gone to the countryside and to the seaside for three weeks to frolic with his cousins. At least he remembered to send a picture.

The family also sent pictures this evening, quite similar to the dog's but in Spain.

Glad he's getting to the seaside, all doggies should have a chance to frolic on a beach once in a while

I use the postcard app on my iphone called bypost, you can use/ take your own pics and personalise your own cards. It's really good. I've sent about 10 already this summer. Beats buying then from the shop, but then should we be supporting local traders ?

I like supporting local shops. Their business model is shaky enough as it's reliant on the weather and people turning up.
