no.... not quite what you think... honest

with all the stuff going on about the vile abuse some people are getting on twitter, the daily mail yesterday started to name and shame some of the abusers

technically none of them have been charged with anything yet.... I am no fan of the daily mail, but as a deterrent I would absolutely applaud what they did....

do you think they were right????

a lot of people on twitter are protesting about the abuse by staying off for 24hrs... while i admire the sentiment, I feel they are going about it the wrong way, in that if they stay off then the abusers have won.....

stand up and be counted

I'm in the name and shame camp.

They may not have been charged yet but their posts are there for all to see.

What they threatened is criminal and illegal ( not only according to my philosophy but the law of the land )

They are guilty whether they go down or not.

Let them stand by their comments.

I haven't seen the story but from what you've said... brilliant! It's about time people were held accountable.

Anyone that uses twitter to abuse others should pay the consequences, I used to use it a lot, but rarely go on now as it is full of vile and horrible things been said.

If they have the audit trail to prove what these people said, then yes they should be published and the people that made the comments given the right to justify them.

i am glad the daily mail did it, and apparently one of the people who did it has now lost their job as a result.... and it shows there is a consequence to their actions.....

but a part of me is still uneasy they haven't been charged with anything yet.. and I think that is on the police.....
