I live in the U.S. and I love Muse! I discovered them from a fan made trailer of a movie someone posted on youtube a few years ago. The song was Butterflies and Hurricanes after I found the band and listened to a few songs I was hooked! Matt Bellamy can do no wrong in my eyes . They have been kind of an underground thing here but theyve been gaining a lot of traction here with their recent album and also having a song on each of the Twilight movies soundtrack. Even though I fucking hate those movies :/. I wanna know how are they recieved in the UK? And whats your favorite Muse song or album?

Time is running out

Undisclosed desires

Look for them taking the piss out of slipknot. Matts laugh cracks me up.

And when they 'mime' on some German show. That's funny.

I think Muse Absolution is one of the most complete albums I could name…

Every track on it fits precisely in what makes for a intense musical experience when listening to the album in its entirety…

But I love much of their other work too, and I think they are one of the finest British bands of recent times..

Oh shit Citizen Erased I love that one too totally forgot about that I gotta listen to it now! Anyone like the new album The 2nd Law I really like the direction they went with infusing elctro. I have heard some dont like it. Thats why I love Muse though album to album track to track theyre alwayd reinventing themselves. I mean who ever thought punkish operattic symphony mash ups would work right?

Love Muse but I think they have a bit of a Marmite reception in the UK - people either love them or hate them. The song they did for the London 2012 Olympics was a bit ergh which didn't help as that put them in front of a huge audience.

Nr Chester

Supposedly one of the best live bands in recent years.

Fantastically talented. Expose the new world order and make a living doing so. Yet marketing, their album artwork shows a lot of Masonic symbolism-like many other artists

I wondered about this too they are very anti-establishment and theres a lot of hints at them exposing secret societies and shadow governments. Seeing as how theyre a UK based band I wondered how people react to that over there. I try not to read too much into it but it is interesting. One thing i will say I havent gotten to see them live yet but from all the concers footage Ive watched thei energy is INCREDIBLE! Follow Me is really good too
