Yes I been hurt badly two time. It does take time to get back on your feet.

I know that not all men and women bad people, I am not.

It has to, I as very trusting. I am not so much now. I also talk a lot more about how I feel about thing and not just let things go.

Being honest each bad knock i have just makes it harder for me to allow someone in..

i let people into my heart too easily and have been taken for a fool one too many times. i've built a brick wall now. Its not just my feelings, its my daughter too.

I'd be determined not to get involved again. It didn't work and never will so pointless wasting my time and his. I've definitely changed, much stronger and more mature, and I have a more realistic outlook on things now. He's probably the same stubborn but very handsome man he used to be!

I have men like that from my past. The attraction is always strong but the love I feel is the love for what was then, not what is now. Loving the fantasy man/woman is the thing to fight, I have found.

I know exactly what you mean, but for me I can't help thinking its something I have done, women tend to treat me like a doormat for some reason and I don't know what it is, these days I tend to stay away from relationships, I feel now like I have got to the point where I am only good for one thing to women, if I keep the feelings out of it then they can't get hurt, and it's working ok for me right now but hey, men having feelings, who knew lol

I've only been in love once: with my husband. Our son died, we grieved apart, for once I wanted him to take control, assure me it would be alright, the pain would pass but instead he shut down my resentment grew.

We broke us so I don't hold any excess baggage of suspicion, distrust and resentment towards men and hope I meet another man that fills me with the joie de vivre!

I've been hurt, I still fill up when I think about the pain caused to me... But all that's gone on in my passed has made me who I am today. I don't care any less, love my loved ones even more
