Newcastle and Gateshead

okay.. so as on 1 hr ago the new pay TV sports war started...

in the red corner... the reigning, defending 3-time champ (having seen off ITV Digital, Setanta and ESPN) rupert murdochs big bad "Sky Sports"

and in the blue corner.... the new upstart with wedges of cash and a national corperation behind them... BT Sport....

I know BT Sport is free to their broadband customers, but has anyone else actually subcribed to them??

I have held out so far... just Because other then the UFC and the 1 premier league game a week... there isn't anything else on their I think I would really watch... and I can find those on t'internet....

use 2 have sky sports n espn

i wont be paying them any more

as they dont show the important games in Scotland

ie Celtic played in champs league qualifier

bbc show 1 game out 3

2 other clubs in Scotland playing in Europe

not one being shown live or even highlights

its all about in england

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

I'll stick with Sky Sports as the cricket is on there as well.

Also a local pub beams back all of Derby County's matches if I'm not going

Internet streaming they are putting prices up in a week because of the addition of the premier league but I signed up a couple of weeks ok at the old price for a year.

I got it the other way round, free broadband for signing up to sky sports

to be hones i have never had any issues with sky broadband, the rumour used to be that they slowed speeds down at peak periods but they deny it, and i have never noticed any differences...
