Natural hair colour changes

Ive always believed i was a red head like an auburn colour but now ive left my hair for a few months without re colouring i think im just a light brown colour.. kinda gutted to be honest.

Have you always been the same colour naturally or has it changed from childhood?

Mines got lighter, when I was born I had black hair and now naturally when its not dyed its a medium to light brown. The sun over time has probably played a part in that though as it does lighten your hair over time slightly

I was strawberry blonde but as I got older it darkened up. If it's natural my hair is brown with red streaks.

I was born with blonde hair but got darker when I was about 3, stayed brown until I was about 20 and started having blonde highlights in. Over the last 4 years ive been red,blue,black,brown but ive now gone back to blonde highlights. I couldnt go back natural due to all the grey!

Cutie, I am a red head with auburn but come winter months I go really dull and tend to dye it more. Have you thought about doing the dip dye affect? that would look pretty cool on you I think.

I am naturally Auburn, but with age and a lot of grey, I now have it dyed Auburn with blonde and copper streaks...

I used to have proper blonde hair, the kind that went white on holiday. It got darker as I got older, now it's probably 13 years since I had entirely natural coloured hair but I get roots that could only be described as 'mucky blond' lol

They colour of your Clopper should be a good indicator.

If you are a Fanta pants' you are a natural Ginna it would seem.

Mine's always been the same- hair the colour of fish batter.

I cover the greys with dye but always the same colour as it is naturally.

I was brown with reddish glints coloured it different shades of red till I became really white in front.

The upkeep became impossible so now im just natural shades of grey..

I was a very dark brown,never wanted to be blonde but I have had to take the plunge and go blonde due to the grey coming through,must say I get told I now look younger,i think its more flattering now,the dark was making me look drawn

Your hair goes dull after being dyed several times.

My sister was always blonde naturally and when she let it grow out after having it red for years it grew out dull and dirty blonde.

So was i and then it went auburn

My Daughter was born with jet black hair n it went blonde...the lads one was blonde one was dark which helped knowing who was who for a while and then they both went ginger

I was born with blonde hair, had it up until my late 20's, then it started to turn brown... It's now brunette with a tint of red or purple, depends on my mood!

It is said that if you dye red hair over time I can change colour. But then red hair does naturally change over time. Very summer my hair yet a little bit lighter. I was very red as a kid not so much now.

Still you got to love us red heads I say

My hair used to be very very blonde, nearly white...with ringlets It got darker as I got older. Now I just help the blonde along to hide the grey

ive been colouring mine for for past 20+ years.its getting shave of on the 17th for charity,going feel strange had long hair for years .going leave it to grow,not sure what my own hair colour is now .lol
